THE WORDS OF TRUTH DAILY DEVOTIONAL

𝕋𝕀𝕋𝕃𝔼:
BY THE SPIRIT WHOM HE HAS GIVEN US!
“And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.” — 1 John 3:24 (NKJV)
DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE
The greatest evidence of God’s abiding presence in a believer is the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Christianity is not sustained by human effort, moral discipline, or religious zeal alone, it is lived by the Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is God’s seal, witness, power, teacher, comforter, and guide within us.
When Scripture says:
it emphasizes divine initiative, God gave His Spirit freely, not as a reward but as a covenant gift.
Through the Spirit, we receive assurance of salvation, victory over sin, boldness in witness, discernment of truth, and strength for holy living.
To ignore the Spirit is to live below our inheritance.
To yield to Him is to manifest the life of Christ daily.
The Spirit makes God real, Christ formed in us, and eternity certain.

1. The Seal on the Letter
A letter without a seal can be questioned, delayed, or rejected.
Once sealed, it carries authority and authenticity.
Lesson:
The Holy Spirit is God’s seal upon our lives.
We are authenticated as His own, secure and recognized in heaven and on earth (Ephesians 1:13).
2. The Wind in the Sail
A well-built ship without wind will remain stagnant.
When the wind fills the sail, movement becomes effortless.
Lesson:
Christian life without the Spirit is struggle; with the Spirit, it becomes purposeful and fruitful (John 3:8).
A CALL TO REPENTANCE
Have you grieved the Spirit by disobedience, prayerlessness, pride, or neglect of God’s voice?
Have you depended more on intellect, position, or experience than on the Spirit of God?
Today, the Spirit calls you back, not to condemnation, but to renewal.
DEEP REPENTANCE
Lord, I confess that I have often walked ahead of You instead of being led by You.
I acknowledge my self-reliance, spiritual dullness, and resistance to Your promptings.
I return to You with a broken and yielded heart.
PRAYER OF REPENTANCE
Father, in the name of Jesus,
I repent of every way I have quenched or grieved Your Spirit.
Cleanse me by the blood of Jesus.
Renew my heart, realign my desires, and restore my sensitivity to Your Spirit.
I surrender fully to Your control.
Amen.

TODAY’S CHALLENGE
Pause before every major decision today and ask:

Then obey promptly.
DEEP REFLECTION
If the Holy Spirit were withdrawn from your life today, how much of your daily activity would still continue unchanged?
What does that reveal about your dependence on Him?
