NO ONE HAS SEEN GOD AT ANY TIME!

THE WORDS OF TRUTH DAILY DEVOTIONAL
Feb 24th, 2026

𝕋𝕀𝕋𝕃𝔼:
NO ONE HAS SEEN GOD AT ANY TIME!

KEY VERSE

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him.” – John 1:18

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

The statement No one has seen God at any time is a profound revelation about the majesty, holiness, and infinite nature of God.
It reminds us that God is Spirit, unlimited, invisible, and dwelling in unapproachable light (1 Timothy 6:16).
Humanity, bound by mortality and weakness, cannot behold God in His fullness.
Yet, in His mercy, God revealed Himself through Jesus Christ , the visible expression of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15).

This truth does not suggest God is distant; rather, it shows that God chooses to reveal Himself in ways we can comprehend, through His Word, His Spirit, His creation, His acts, and especially through His Son.
Whenever God appeared in the Old Testament, He manifested through forms humans could endure, fire, cloud, voice, and glory, never His full essence.

Today, believers “see” God through the character of Christ, the witness of the Holy Spirit, the power of Scripture, and the transformation in our lives.
This devotional calls us to pursue a deeper revelation of God, not by physical sight, but by spiritual intimacy.

BIBLICAL OBJECTIVES

  1. To understand the holiness and transcendence of God.

  2. To appreciate the revelation of God through Christ.

  3. To deepen our hunger for intimate fellowship with God.

  4. To cultivate reverence and humility before God.

  5. To strengthen faith in what is unseen but eternally real.

  6. To embrace the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

  7. To grow in obedience to God’s Word.

  8. To walk in the light of Christ’s example.

  9. To pursue purity that enables deeper spiritual sight.

  10. To trust God beyond human reasoning or limitations.

CHARACTERISTICS OF GOD REVEALED THROUGH THIS TRUTH

ILLUSTRATIONS

1. THE SUN AND ITS BRIGHTNESS

Just as no human can stare directly at the sun without going blind, no one can behold God in His full glory.
Yet the sunlight warms us, gives us energy, and reveals the world around us.

Lesson:

Though we cannot see God’s full essence, His presence, love, and works are undeniable.

2. THE WIND THAT CANNOT BE SEEN

We do not see the wind, but we see its effects on trees, oceans, and our skin.

Lesson:

God may be invisible, but His power, guidance, and influence are visible in the outcomes of our lives.

CALL TO REPENTANCE

God invites us to turn from sin, pride, and spiritual blindness.
Repentance opens our hearts to perceive Him more clearly.
A contrite heart becomes a vessel for divine revelation.

DEEP REPENTANCE

Take a moment to sincerely acknowledge any ways you have ignored God’s presence, doubted His word, or failed to walk in the light of Christ.
Ask God to purify your motives and cleanse your heart so you may know Him more deeply.

PRAYER OF REPENTANCE

Heavenly Father,

I humble myself before Your holiness.
I acknowledge my sins and ask for Your mercy.
Wash me clean and renew my spirit.
Help me walk in Your truth and grow in the knowledge of Christ.
Give me eyes to see Your works and a heart that longs for You.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

HYMN

Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise
Walter Chalmers Smith (1876)

1. Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
in light inaccessible hid from our eyes,
most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days,
almighty, victorious, thy great name we praise.

2. Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light,
nor wanting, nor wasting, thou rulest in might;
thy justice like mountains high soaring above
thy clouds, which are fountains of goodness and love.

3. To all life thou givest, to both great and small;
in all life thou livest, the true life of all;
we blossom and flourish as leaves on the tree,
and wither and perish but naught changeth thee.

4. Great Father of glory, pure Father of light,
thine angels adore thee, all veiling their sight;
all praise we would render, O help us to see
'tis only the splendor of light hideth thee.

TODAY’S CHALLENGE

Seek God intentionally today.
Spend time in prayer and Scripture, asking God to reveal Himself more deeply through His Word and His Spirit.

DEEP REFLECTION

Seeing God is not about physical eyes but the posture of the heart.
How sincerely do you pursue God when no one is watching?
What areas of your life block deeper intimacy with Him?

God may be unseen, but He is ever-present, ever-loving, ever-guiding.
Trust Him even when you cannot trace Him.
His invisible hand is working for your good.

ETERNITY IN VIEW

Until then, walk faithfully, knowing the invisible God sees and rewards every step of obedience.

CLOSING DECLARATION

The unseen God is my strength, my guide, and my salvation.
His Word lights my path, and His presence surrounds me.
I shall know Him more deeply every day, in Jesus’ Name.
Amen.

So shall it be, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

WORDS OF TRUTH

Though no one has seen God at any time, His presence is unmistakably real.
Walk with confidence, for the invisible God is visibly working in your life.

WE ALSO OUGHT TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER!

THE WORDS OF TRUTH DAILY DEVOTIONAL
Feb 23rd, 2026

𝕋𝕀𝕋𝕃𝔼:
WE ALSO OUGHT TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER!

KEY VERSE

“Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.” – 1 John 4:11

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

Love is the heartbeat of true Christianity.
God did not ask us to love one another without first showing us the perfect example of love.
He loved us sacrificially, unconditionally, and consistently.
This is why John reminds believers that loving one another is not optional, it is an obligation, a command, and a proof of spiritual maturity.

To love one another means to reflect the character of God in our speech, actions, and intentions.
Love forgives, heals, gives, sacrifices, bears, believes, and restores.
When love is present, relationships thrive.
When love is absent, even blessings seem empty.

The true test of Christian faith is not in eloquence, titles, or activities but in the quality of love we demonstrate daily.
Jesus emphasized that the world will know us as His disciples only by our love for one another.
Where love thrives, unity is strengthened, prayer flows easily, and the presence of God is felt.

To love one another is to walk in obedience, to mirror Christ, and to let the light of heaven shine through us.

BIBLICAL OBJECTIVES OF LOVING ONE ANOTHER

  1. To reflect the nature of God1 John 4:8

ILLUSTRATIONS

1. THE FORGIVING FATHER

A father had two sons.
One disrespected him, squandered his resources, but later returned home broken.
Instead of condemnation, the father embraced him.

Lesson:

True love restores rather than rejects
Love chooses reconciliation over revenge.

2. THE BROKEN BRIDGE

Two brothers quarreled for years.
A carpenter came to build a fence but instead built a bridge between their houses.
When they saw the bridge, their hearts melted and they reconciled.

Lesson:

Love builds bridges, not walls
Love is the pathway to healing.

CALL TO REPENTANCE

God calls us to repent wherever we have failed to walk in love, through bitterness, grudges, selfishness, and harshness.
True repentance begins with acknowledging our need for God's transforming power.

DEEP REPENTANCE

Lord, cleanse my heart from hatred, strife, pride, unforgiveness, and every root that prevents me from loving others as You have loved me.
Break every hardness in my heart and restore the softness of Christlike love.

PRAYER OF REPENTANCE

Father,

I confess every way I have failed to walk in love.
Wash me with the blood of Jesus
Give me a new heart, renew a right spirit within me, and empower me to love others genuinely, sacrificially, and consistently.

Love Divine, All Loves Excelling
Charles Wesley (1747)

hymn celebrating God’s perfect love working in us.

1. Love divine, all loves excelling,
Joy of Heav'n to Earth come down,
Fix in us thy humble dwelling,
All thy faithful mercies crown;
Jesus, thou art all compassion,
Pure, unbounded love thou art;
Visit us with thy salvation,
Enter ev'ry trembling heart.

2. Breathe, O breathe thy loving Spirit
Into ev'ry troubled breast;
Let us all in thee inherit,
Let us find thy promised rest;
Take away our love of sinning;

End of faith as its beginning,
Set our hearts at liberty.

3. Come, Almighty to deliver;
Let us all thy grace receive;
Suddenly return, and never,
Never more thy temples leave.
Thee we would be always blessing,
Serve thee as thy host above,
Pray, and praise thee without ceasing,
Glory in thy perfect love.

4. Finish, then, thy new creation;

BELOVED, IF GOD SO LOVED US!

THE WORDS OF TRUTH DAILY DEVOTIONAL
Feb 22nd, 2026

𝕋𝕀𝕋𝕃𝔼:
BELOVED, IF GOD SO LOVED US!

KEY VERSE

“Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.” — 1 John 4:11

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

The love of God is not an abstract feeling; it is a living, active force demonstrated through action, sacrifice, and mercy.
The Apostle John reminds us that the starting point of true Christian living is not our love for God, but God’s love toward us.
His love is undeserved, unearned, and unconditional.
It is the foundation of salvation and the heartbeat of the gospel.

When Scripture says, God so loved us,” it points to the depth, length, breadth, and height of His love, revealed most powerfully through the gift of His Son.
God didn’t wait for us to be perfect before loving us; He loved us at our worst.
His love cleanses, restores, empowers, and transforms.

And now, this love becomes our assignment:

When you understand God’s love:

God’s love is not passive.
It moves us to act, to show kindness, mercy, generosity, empathy, and patience even toward the undeserving.
When believers truly embrace God’s love, revival begins in the heart and extends to relationships, families, and communities.

BIBLICAL OBJECTIVES OF GOD’S LOVE

  1. To save humanity from sin – God’s love is redemptive.

  2. To reveal His character – Love defines His identity.

  3. To reconcile us back to Himself – His love restores relationship.

  4. To transform human hearts – Love changes nature.

  5. To empower believers to love others – Love reproduces love.

  6. To destroy fear and bondagePerfect love casts out fear.

  7. To make us sons and daughters of God – Love adopts.

  8. To demonstrate mercy and forgiveness – Love pardons.

  9. To bring unity among believers – Love binds us together.

  10. To guarantee eternal life – Love gives everlasting hope.

ILLUSTRATIONS

1. THE BROKEN VESSEL

A potter once made a beautiful vessel, but it slipped and cracked.
Many insisted it should be thrown away, but the potter refused.
He took the broken vessel, filled the cracks with gold, and made it more valuable than before.

Lesson:

God’s love does not discard the broken; it restores and beautifies them.
If God loved us in our brokenness, we must extend love to others regardless of their flaws.

2. THE RESCUED LAMB

A shepherd discovered one of his lambs stuck in a thorn bush.
Though the lamb struggled and bled, the shepherd reached into the thorns, injuring his hands to save it.

Lesson:

Love is costly
If God went to great lengths to rescue us, we must show sacrificial love to others, even when it is inconvenient.

CALL TO REPENTANCE

Beloved, God’s love calls us not just to receive but also to reflect.
Where there is hatred, unforgiveness, pride, or bitterness, repentance is needed.
Genuine repentance opens the heart to experience the fullness of God’s love.

Let your heart examine itself:

  • Have you withheld love?
  • Have you walked in bitterness?
  • Have you struggled to forgive?
  • Have you neglected the poor or wounded?

Ask God to cleanse, break, and remold your heart to love like He does.

PRAYER OF REPENTANCE

Father,

I come before You acknowledging my shortcomings.
Forgive me for every way I have failed to walk in love.
Cleanse my heart from bitterness, pride, and hardness.
Fill me with Your Spirit and teach me to love as You have loved me.

In Jesus’ Name.
Amen.

HE SENT HIS SON TO BE THE PROPITIATION FOR OUR SINS!

THE WORDS OF TRUTH DAILY DEVOTIONAL
Feb 21st, 2026

𝕋𝕀𝕋𝕃𝔼:
HE SENT HIS SON TO BE THE PROPITIATION FOR OUR SINS!

KEY VERSE

“Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” - 1 John 4:10 (KJV)

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

The greatest revelation of God’s love is not seen in creation, miracles, or blessings; but in the giving of His Son, Jesus Christ, as the propitiationthe atoning sacrifice, for our sins.

The word propitiation means the turning away of wrath by an offering.

Humanity, because of sin, stood guilty and condemned before a holy God.

Justice demanded punishment, but love provided a substitute.

Jesus did not merely cover sin; He removed it, absorbed the penalty, satisfied God’s righteous judgment, and opened the way for us to enjoy fellowship with Him.

Every drop of blood Jesus shed on the cross was a declaration:

You are loved, forgiven, and redeemed.

This devotional reminds us that we did nothing to earn this love.

God Himself initiated salvation.

He moved toward us when we were running from Him.

The cross is the eternal symbol of divine exchange, our guilt for His righteousness, our condemnation for His mercy, our separation for His intimacy.

Because of Christ’s sacrifice, no believer needs to walk in fear, shame, or bondage.

We stand accepted, justified, and reconciled.

BIBLICAL OBJECTIVES

  1. To understand God’s unconditional love expressed through Christ’s sacrifice.

  2. To appreciate the depth of Christ’s atoning work on the cross.

  3. To recognize sin’s seriousness and God’s holiness.

  5. To grow in gratitude for salvation by grace alone.

Without His sacrifice, access to God is impossible.

2. THE INNOCENT LAMB ON THE ALTAR

An ancient shepherd offered a spotless lamb to atone for the sins of the community.

If sin, pride, unforgiveness, or disobedience is present, today is the day to return.

Do not ignore the love that paid for your redemption.

It is turning from sin because you recognize the One who died for you deserves your purity, obedience, and whole heart.

HYMN

There Is a Fountain Filled with Blood
William Cowper (1772)

A timeless hymn proclaiming cleansing through the blood of Jesus, the perfect propitiation for sin.

1. There is a fountain filled with blood
Drawn from Immanuel's veins;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains:
Lose all their guilty stains,
Lose all their guilty stains;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains.

2. The dying thief rejoiced to see
That fountain in his day;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away:
Wash all my sins away,
Wash all my sins away;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away.

3. Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood
Shall never lose its pow'r,
Till all the ransomed Church of God
Be saved, to sin no more:
Be saved, to sin no more,
Be saved, to sin no more;
Till all the ransomed Church of God
Be saved to sin no more.

4. E'er since by faith I saw the stream
Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die:
And shall be till I die,
And shall be till I die;
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die.

5. When this poor lisping, stamm'ring tongue
Lies silent in the grave,
Then in a nobler, sweeter song
I'll sing Thy pow'r to save:
I'll sing Thy pow'r to save,
I'll sing Thy pow'r to save;
Then in a nobler, sweeter song
I'll sing Thy pow'r to save.
