ANTICHRIST YOU HAVE HEARD IS COMING!

KEY VERSE

“Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come…”1 John 2:18

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

The Apostle John does not introduce the Antichrist as a surprise, a rumor, or a conspiracy, but as a spiritual reality already at work.

The Antichrist is not merely a future individual; it is a spirit, a system, and a mindset that opposes Christ, replaces Christ, or subtly removes Christ from the center of truth.

The danger is not only in open denial of Christ, but in counterfeit Christianitytruth mixed with error, morality without Christ, spirituality without submission to Jesus as Lord.

The spirit of antichrist thrives where Christ is acknowledged with lips but denied in obedience, doctrine, and lifestyle.

ILLUSTRATIONS

1. THE COUNTERFEIT CURRENCY

A counterfeit note may look genuine, feel real, and even pass through several hands, but it fails under proper inspection.

Lesson:

The spirit of antichrist often looks like Christianity.

It uses Christian language but lacks Christ’s nature, authority, and truth

Discernment is not optional; it is survival.

2. THE DIMMING LAMP

A lamp that is unplugged may still glow faintly for a moment, but it will soon go out.

Lesson:

Any faith disconnected from Christ may appear alive briefly, but without Him, it will fade.

Christ is not an accessory, He is the source.

A CALL TO REPENTANCE

Beloved, this is a call to examine our hearts.

Have we embraced comfort over truth?

Popularity over purity?

Religion over relationship with Christ?

“Search me, O God, and know my heart…”Psalm 139:23

DEEP REPENTANCE

Lord, we repent for tolerating error.

We repent for ignoring Your Word.

We repent for exalting voices above Your truth.

We repent for compromising holiness for acceptance.

PRAYER OF REPENTANCE

Father,

I acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord.

I reject every lie that contradicts Your Word.

Cleanse my heart from deception and pride.

Restore my hunger for truth and holiness.

I turn fully back to You, in obedience and faith,

Onward, Christian Soldiers
Sabine Baring-Gould (1865)

Lesson: The Christian life is a disciplined march in truth, unity, and allegiance to Christ alone.

1. Onward, Christian soldiers,
marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus
going on before!
Christ, the royal Master,
leads against the foe;
Forward into battle,
see his banner go!

Refrain:

Onward, Christian soldiers,
marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus
going on before!

2. At the sign of triumph
Satan's host doth flee;
On, then, Christian soldiers,
on to victory!
Hell's foundations quiver
at the shout of praise;
Brothers, lift your voices,
loud your anthems raise!

3. Like a mighty army
moves the church of God;
Brothers, we are treading
where the saints have trod;
We are not divided;
all one body we,
One in hope and doctrine,
one in charity.

4. Onward, then, ye people,
join our happy throng,
Blend with ours your voices
in the triumph song;
Glory, laud, and honor,
unto Christ the King;
This thro' countless ages

THIS IS THE SPIRIT OF THE ANTICHRIST!

THE WORDS OF TRUTH DAILY DEVOTIONAL
Jan 27th, 2026

𝕋𝕀𝕋𝕃𝔼:
THIS IS THE SPIRIT OF THE ANTICHRIST!

KEY VERSE

“But every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.” - 1 John 4:3 (NIV)

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

The Bible makes it clear that the spirit of the antichrist is not merely a future personality, but a present spiritual influence actively opposing Christ.

Apostle John writes with urgency, warning believers that this spirit denies the truth of Jesus Christ, His incarnation, lordship, redemptive work, and authority.

This spirit operates subtly:

It does not always appear hostile; often it looks intellectual, progressive, tolerant, or even spiritual, yet it rejects the absolute truth of Jesus as Lord and Savior.

The spirit of the antichrist thrives where:

But the good news remains:

Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Believers are called to discern, stand firm, love the truth, and remain rooted in Christ in these last days.

ILLUSTRATIONS

1. The Counterfeit Currency

Lesson:
Just as counterfeit money looks real but lacks value, false teachings may appear spiritual but are devoid of Christ’s truth.

Only discernment rooted in Scripture can detect the difference.

2. The Broken Compass

Lesson:
A compass that does not point north misleads travelers.

When Christ is no longer the reference point, believers drift into deception, even while thinking they are progressing.

A CALL TO REPENTANCE

Beloved, the spirit of the antichrist thrives where believers tolerate compromise.

This is a call to return to first love, pure doctrine, and total allegiance to Christ.

DEEP REPENTANCE MOMENT

Ask yourself:

  • Have I compromised truth for convenience?

  • Have I embraced teachings that downplay repentance and holiness?

  • Is Christ truly Lord over my thoughts, decisions, and doctrine?

PRAYER OF REPENTANCE

Father,

I come before You in humility.

I repent of every compromise, ignorance, and tolerance of error.

DISCERNING THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH: THE INCARNATION AS THE ULTIMATE TEST

THE WORDS OF TRUTH DAILY DEVOTIONAL
Jan 26th, 2026

𝕋𝕀𝕋𝕃𝔼:
DISCERNING THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH: THE INCARNATION AS THE ULTIMATE TEST

KEY VERSE

“And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist…”
1 John 4:3 (KJV)

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

The confession that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not merely a theological statement, it is the foundation of Christian faith.

The Apostle John presents incarnation as the litmus test of every spirit, teaching, doctrine, and revelation.

To deny the incarnation is to deny:

Jesus did not appear as an illusion or spiritual concept.

He entered human history, wore human flesh, experienced hunger, pain, temptation, suffering, and death, yet without sin.

This truth separates the Spirit of God from the spirit of error.

In an age of spiritual pluralism, mysticism, and “customized faith,” this test remains eternal:

What do you believe about Jesus Christ?

BIBLICAL OBJECTIVES OF THIS TRUTH

  1. To affirm the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ (John 1:14)

  2. To guard believers against deception (1 John 4:1)

  3. To expose false spirits and doctrines (2 John 1:7)

  4. To anchor faith in historical truth, not myth (Luke 1:1–4)

  5. To preserve the doctrine of salvation (Hebrews 2:14)

  6. To reveal God’s love through incarnation (Romans 5:8)

  7. To uphold the authority of Christ (Colossians 2:9)

  8. To establish discernment in the Church (1 Corinthians 12:10)

  9. To defend the Gospel against antichrist systems (1 John 2:22)

  10. To prepare believers for eternity (John 14:6)

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD

  1. Confesses Jesus as Lord in the flesh1 John 4:2

  2. Upholds the Word made flesh – John 1:14

  3. Glorifies Christ, not self – John 16:14

  4. Produces truth, not confusion – 1 Corinthians 14:33

  5. Aligns with apostolic doctrineActs 2:42

  6. Leads to holiness – Romans 8:13

  7. Bears witness to Christ – John 15:26

  8. Promotes love and obedience – 1 John 5:2–3

  9. Confirms Jesus’ redemptive work – Hebrews 9:14

  10. Prepares believers for Christ’s return – Revelation 22:17

ILLUSTRATIONS

1. The Counterfeit Currency Test

Banks do not study fake money, they master the original.

Likewise, believers discern false spirits by knowing the true Christ.

Lesson:

Intimacy with the real Jesus makes deception obvious.

2. The Bridge That Reached Both Sides

Humanity could not reach God, and God chose not to shout from heaven.

He became the bridgeJesus in the flesh.

Lesson:

Denying incarnation collapses the bridge of salvation.

CALL TO REPENTANCE

Any belief, teaching, or lifestyle that minimizes Christ’s lordship, humanity, or redemptive work must be confronted.

Intellectual belief without heart surrender is still rebellion.

“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith.”2 Corinthians 13:5

DEEP REPENTANCE

Lord, forgive us for:

PRAYER OF REPENTANCE

Father, in the name of Jesus,

I repent of every belief, thought, or influence that does not align with the truth of Your Son.

I confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, fully God and fully man, crucified, risen, and glorified.

Cleanse my heart from deception and establish me in truth.

I receive mercy and restoration,

In Jesus’ name.

Amen.

REFLECTION SCRIPTURES

  1. John 1:14 – God became flesh

  2. Philippians 2:6–8Christ’s humility

  3. Hebrews 2:14 – Shared humanity for redemption

  4. Colossians 2:9 – Fullness of God in Christ

  5. 1 Timothy 3:16 – Mystery of godliness

  6. Isaiah 7:14 – Prophecy of incarnation

  7. Luke 2:11Savior born

  8. Romans 1:3–4 – Human lineage, divine power

  9. 2 John 1:7 – Warning against deceivers

  10. Revelation 1:7 – The incarnate Christ returns

EVERY SPIRIT THAT CONFESSES THAT JESUS CHRIST HAS COME IN THE FLESH IS OF GOD!

KEY VERSE

“Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.” - 1 John 4:2 (KJV)

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

This profound declaration is both a test of truth and a revelation of God’s redemptive plan.

The Apostle John, writing to a church surrounded by deception, gives a clear spiritual litmus test:

The incarnation of Jesus Christ.

To confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh means:

This truth confronts every false doctrine that denies Christ’s divinity, humanity, or saving work.

Christianity does not rest on philosophy but on a Person who stepped into flesh, bore sin, conquered death, and reigns eternally.

Any spirit, teaching, doctrine, or influence that truly acknowledges this reality is aligned with God.

Any spirit that denies it, no matter how spiritual it sounds, is not of God.

The incarnation is the foundation of salvation, truth, and spiritual discernment.

BIBLICAL OBJECTIVES OF THIS TRUTH

Lesson:

2. The Bridge of Flesh

A deep chasm separates man from God.

No ladder works, until God Himself becomes the bridge.

Lesson:

The incarnation is God’s answer to man’s separation.

A CALL TO REPENTANCE
