YOU KNOW ALL THINGS

THE WORDS OF TRUTH DAILY DEVOTIONAL
Oct 8th, 2025

𝕋𝕀𝕋𝕃𝔼:
YOU
 KNOW ALL THINGS!

KEY VERSE

“And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee.”John 21:17 (KJV)

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

When Peter stood before Jesus after denying Him three times, he could no longer boast in his strength or loyalty.

Instead, broken and humbled, he confessed,

Lord, You know all things!

This statement revealed more than guilt, it revealed the omniscience of Christ.

God knows everything, past, present, and future.

Nothing escapes His sight or understanding.

He knows your thoughts before you speak (Psalm 139:2–4).

He sees your tears, your motives, your hidden struggles, and your sincere desires.

When you say,

Lord, You know all things!

You are acknowledging that:

His knowledge is perfect,
His judgment is just, and
His mercy is all-encompassing.

It means you no longer live under pretense, you open your heart to the One who truly knows you.

This revelation brings both comfort and conviction.

Comfort, because He understands your pain even when words fail.

Conviction, because nothing is hidden from Him, not even your secret sins or motives.

Yet, His love remains constant.

The One who knows all things still chooses to forgive, restore, and use you for His glory, just as He did with Peter.

ILLUSTRATIONS

1. The Hidden Letter

A young girl once wrote a letter to her late mother, sealed it, and placed it under her pillow.

Every night she whispered,

Mama, I wish you could hear me.

One day, her father found the letter and, moved with compassion, fulfilled all her requests written in innocence.

Lesson: Even when no one else hears, God knows and understands the deep cries of your heart.

He reads every unspoken prayer.

2. The Broken Watch

A man’s wristwatch stopped working.

He tried to fix it but only made it worse.

Finally, he took it back to the manufacturer who smiled and said,

I know every part of this watch, I made it.

Within minutes, it worked perfectly.

Lesson: God knows you because He made you.

He alone can fix what’s broken in your life, take it back to the Creator who knows all things.

CALL TO REPENTANCE

Have you been pretending before God, hiding pain, sin, or fear?

He already knows.

Stop covering what He can cleanse.

Today, open your heart fully to Him.

Let your confession echo Peter’s humility:

Lord, You know all things.

DEEP REPENTANCE

Bow your heart in sincerity and say:

Lord, I have acted as though You didn’t see.

I have doubted Your understanding of my situation.

Forgive me for my pride, secrecy, and unbelief.

I come naked before You.

Cleanse me, heal me, and restore me.

PRAYER OF REPENTANCE

Heavenly Father,

You know all things, nothing is hidden from You.

I confess my sins, weaknesses, and secret battles.

Forgive me, Lord, and cleanse my heart.

I yield my life to Your truth and light.

Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me and lead me in the way everlasting.

Thank You for loving me despite my flaws.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

REFLECTION SCRIPTURES

  1. Psalm 139:1–4 – O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
  2. Hebrews 4:13 – Nothing in creation is hidden from God’s sight.
  3. Proverbs 15:3 – The eyes of the Lord are everywhere.
  4. John 16:30 – Now we are sure that You know all things.
  5. 1 John 3:20 – God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
  6. Romans 8:27 – He who searches the heart knows the mind of the Spirit.
  7. Job 28:24 – For He looks to the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens.

HYMN

Search Me, O God (Also known as Cleanse Me)
J. Edwin Orr (1936)

1. Search me, O God, and know my heart today;
Try me. O Saviour, know my thoughts, I pray.
See if there be some wicked way in me;
Cleanse me from ev’ry sin and set me free.

2. I praise Thee, Lord, for cleansing me from sin;
Fulfil Thy Word and make me pure within.
Fill me with fire where once I burned with shame;
Grant my desire to magnify Thy name.

3. Lord, take my life and make it wholly Thine;
Fill my poor heart with Thy great love divine.
Take all my will, my passion, self, and pride;
I now surrender; Lord, in me abide.

4. O Holy Ghost, revival comes from Thee;
Send a revival, start the work in me.
Thy word declares Thou wilt supply our need;
For blessings now, O Lord, I humbly plead.

TODAY’S CHALLENGE

Spend quiet time in prayer today.

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything in your life that is hidden or displeasing to God.

Write it down, confess it, and surrender it completely.

Let God’s light shine on every dark place.

DEEP REFLECTION

To say, “You know all things,” is to rest in God’s perfect wisdom.

It means you no longer have to pretend or fear being misunderstood.

It also means nothing escapes His attention, your pain, faithfulness, and tears are recorded in heaven.

CLOSING DECLARATION

Lord, You know all things!

You know my past, my present, and my future.

You know my battles, my dreams, and my heart.

I trust You completely.

Amen.
