DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

Prayer is not a religious routine; prayer is fellowship with God. One of the greatest blessings given to believers is the confidence that God hears and answers prayers offered according to His will. The Scripture says, “whatsoever we ask”; not in doubt, fear, or rebellion; but in faith, obedience, and alignment with God’s purpose.

Many believers pray but struggle with assurance. Some think God is too far away, too busy, or unwilling to respond. Yet the Word of God establishes a divine certainty: “If we know that He hears us… we know that we have the petitions.” God’s hearing guarantees God’s response.

Answered prayer is rooted in relationship, faith, righteousness, obedience, and persistence. Prayer moves mountains, opens impossible doors, heals broken lives, restores destinies, defeats satanic attacks, and brings heaven’s intervention into earthly situations.

However, unanswered prayers can sometimes result from unbelief, unforgiveness, disobedience, sinful living, wrong motives, or lack of persistence. God desires His children to approach Him boldly, trusting His love and power.

The believer who understands the authority of prayer will not live helplessly. Heaven responds when faith-filled prayers rise from sincere hearts. God still answers prayers today. He answers in His timing, wisdom, and perfect will.

Whatever you are asking God for today, do not surrender to discouragement. Continue standing on His promises. The God who answered Hannah, Elijah, Daniel, blind Bartimaeus, and the early church still answers today.

Your prayers are not ignored. Your tears are not wasted. Your faith will not be disappointed.
