𝕋𝕀𝕋𝕃𝔼:
WHOEVER CONFESSES THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD!

KEY VERSE

“Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.” — 1 John 4:15 (NKJV)

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

Confessing that Jesus is the Son of God is more than repeating a religious statement, it is a divine alignment of the heart, mind, and life with the truth of the gospel. This confession means accepting Jesus as Lord, Savior, Redeemer, and the One sent by the Father for our salvation.

The confession is not merely verbal; it is a life confessionrevealed in the way we live, the choices we make, the things we stand for, and the boundaries we set. When our hearts truly believe this truth, God Himself comes to dwell in us. His presence becomes our strength, His love becomes our identity, and His power becomes our anchor.

This truth brings deliverance from fear, darkness, guilt, condemnation, and the lies of the enemy. By confessing Jesus as the Son of God, we step into sonship, authority, and eternal life. We become partakers of the divine nature and heirs of God’s promises.

The world may deny, redefine, or reject Jesus, but the believer who boldly confesses Him is marked with divine approval and heavenly recognition. The Holy Spirit confirms such a confession with inner assurance, peace, and spiritual authority.

Today, God calls us to a deeper, unwavering, bold, and public confession that Jesus alone is the Son of God, our Savior, our Redeemer, and the soon-coming King.

BIBLICAL OBJECTIVES OF THIS TRUTH

  1. To affirm Christ’s divine identity (Matthew 16:16).

  2. To connect believers to God’s indwelling presence (1 John 4:15).

  3. To establish the foundation of salvation (Romans 10:9–10).

  4. To destroy the works of darkness in a believer’s life (1 John 3:8).

  5. To empower boldness and spiritual authority (Luke 10:19).

  6. To align believers with God’s will and purpose (John 6:40).

  7. To release the transforming power of the gospel (Romans 1:16).

  8. To produce unwavering faith in Christ (Hebrews 12:2).

  9. To position believers for eternal life (John 3:36).

  10. To separate the believer from false doctrines and deception (1 Timothy 4:1).

CHARACTERISTICS OF THOSE WHO CONFESS JESUS

  1. They walk in the light (1 John 1:7).

  2. They bear spiritual fruit (Matthew 7:17–18).

  3. They love others deeply (John 13:35).

  4. They are led by the Spirit (Romans 8:14).

  5. They stand firm in trials (James 1:12).

  6. They reject the spirit of the world (1 John 2:15–16).

  7. They obey God’s commandments (John 14:21).

  8. They boldly declare the gospel (Romans 1:16).

  9. They separate from sin (2 Corinthians 6:17).

  10. They eagerly await Christ’s return (Titus 2:13).

ILLUSTRATIONS

1. The Light in the Cave

A man was trapped in a deep cave. No matter how he tried to climb out, the darkness overwhelmed him. Suddenly, a rescuer lowered a rope and shone a bright light down. The man cried out, “Save me!” and reached for the rope. His confession led to his rescue.

Lesson:

Confessing Jesus as the Son of God pulls us out of the darkness of sin and hopelessness into the light of salvation.

2. The Signature of Belonging

A child adopted into a loving home must sign an acceptance form. Though the family loved him already, his signature meant he embraced the new identity.
Confession is the believer’s “signature” declaring we belong to God through Christ.

Lesson:

Confession seals our spiritual identity and acknowledges our acceptance of God’s love and salvation.

CALL TO REPENTANCE

Return to the Lord. Allow the truth of Jesus’ identity to break the chains of doubt, sin, fear, and compromise. God is calling you back to a sincere and bold confession of faith.

DEEP REPENTANCE

Examine your heart. Have you confessed Jesus only with your lips but not with your life? Surrender your hidden struggles, pride, unbelief, and disobedience.

PRAYER OF REPENTANCE

Lord Jesus,

I repent of every sin, unbelief, and compromise. I confess from my heart that You are the Son of God, my Savior, and my Lord. Wash me clean. Renew my spirit. Help me walk boldly in truth and obedience.

Amen.”

HYMN

My Faith Looks Up to Thee
Ray Palmer, 1830

A hymn that redirects the heart to the saving power of Christ, the Son of God.

1. My faith looks up to Thee,
Thou Lamb of Calvary,
Savior divine!
Now hear me while I pray,
take all my guilt away;
O let me from this day
be wholly Thine.

2. May Thy rich grace impart
strength to my fainting heart,
my zeal inspire;
as Thou hast died for me,
O may my love to Thee
pure, warm, and changeless be,
a living fire.

3. While life’s dark maze I tread,
and griefs around me spread,
be Thou my Guide;
bid darkness turn to day,
wipe sorrow’s tears away,
nor let me ever stray
from Thee aside.

4. When ends life's transient dream,
when death’s cold, sullen stream
shall o'er me roll,
blest Savior, then in love,
fear and distrust remove;
O bear me safe above,
a ransomed soul.

AND WE HAVE SEEN AND DO TESTIFY THAT THE FATHER HAS SENT HIS SON AS THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD!

THE WORDS OF TRUTH DAILY DEVOTIONAL
Mar 3rd, 2026

𝕋𝕀𝕋𝕃𝔼:
AND WE HAVE SEEN AND DO TESTIFY THAT THE FATHER HAS SENT HIS SON AS THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD!

KEY VERSE

“And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.” — 1 John 4:14 (KJV)

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

The Apostle John writes with the confidence of one who walked with Christ, heard Him speak, saw His miracles, and witnessed His resurrection glory. His testimony is not theoretical; it is experiential. John says, “We have seen”, that is revelation; “and do testify”, that is responsibility.

At the center of the Christian faith is not a philosophy, not a prophet, not a moral code, but a Person, Jesus Christ, sent by the Father as the only Savior of the world. Humanity’s deepest problem, sin, is beyond human effort, government reforms, education, or religion. Only a divine Savior can provide a divine solution.

To confess that Jesus is Savior is to acknowledge that:

The world may offer alternatives, but heaven offers only one name by which we must be saved, Jesus Christ. The apostles saw Him; today we believe Him by the Spirit. Their testimony becomes our inheritance, our conviction, and our message to a dying world.

BIBLICAL OBJECTIVES OF THIS TRUTH

  1. To affirm Jesus Christ as the only Savior sent by the Father.

  2. To cultivate boldness to testify about Christ to others.

  3. To deepen assurance of salvation through the finished work of Christ.

  4. To strengthen faith in the love of God demonstrated in sending His Son.

  5. To build a lifestyle centered on Christ, not self.

  6. To encourage believers to walk in truth and reject false doctrines.

  7. To inspire gratitude for the mercy and grace of God.

  8. To reveal the universal offer of salvation to all nations and peoples.

  9. To lead believers to reflect God’s love as Christ’s ambassadors.

  10. To remind Christians of the urgency of evangelism in a dying world.

CHARACTERISTICS OF JESUS THE SAVIOR

  1. He is the Lamb of GodJohn 1:29

  2. He is the Way, the Truth, and the LifeJohn 14:6

  3. He is the Light of the World – John 8:12

  4. He is the Good Shepherd – John 10:11

  5. He is the Resurrection and the Life – John 11:25

  6. He is the Bread of Life – John 6:35

  7. He is the Mediator between God and man – 1 Timothy 2:5

  8. He is the Author of Eternal SalvationHebrews 5:9

  9. He is the Righteous Judge – Acts 17:31

  10. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords – Revelation 19:16

ILLUSTRATIONS

1. THE RESCUER AND THE DROWNING MAN

A man was drowning far from shore. Many shouted instructions from land, “Swim harder!” “Kick your legs!”, but he was too weak. Then a trained rescuer dove in, risked his life, reached the man, and carried him safely to land.

Lesson:

Humanity is the drowning man. Religion gives instructions but cannot save. Only Jesus, the Savior sent by the Father, can rescue us from the depths of sin.

2. THE BROKEN VESSEL AND THE MASTER ARTISAN

A priceless clay vessel fell and shattered. Many said it was useless. But the master craftsman gently gathered every piece and skillfully restored it to greater beauty than before.

Lesson:

Sin shatters lives, but Jesus, sent by the Father, restores, redeems, and gives new life. He alone can make broken people whole.

CALL TO REPENTANCE

Beloved, if Jesus truly is the Savior of the world, then we must face the truth about our condition. Sin separates. Pride blinds. Delay destroys. The Father sent His Son to save, but the saved are those who repent.

Come to Him today. Turn from sin. Let the Savior do what only He can do.

DEEP REPENTANCE

Deep repentance means acknowledging:

  • My sin is real.
  • My efforts cannot save me.
  • Only the blood of Jesus can wash me.
  • I surrender my will, desires, and past to Christ.

It is a turning not only from sin but to the Savior.

PRAYER OF REPENTANCE

Lord Jesus,

I acknowledge that You were sent by the Father to be the Savior of the world, and my Savior. I confess my sins and turn from them. Wash me by Your blood, renew my heart, and give me new life. I receive Your forgiveness and declare You as my Lord forever.

Amen.

REFLECTION SCRIPTURES

HYMN

To God Be the Glory
Fanny J. Crosby (1875)

A powerful hymn declaring God’s love in sending His Son, and salvation freely offered to all who believe.

1. To God be the glory, great things He hath done,
so loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
and opened the life-gate that all may go in.

Refrain:

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father through Jesus the Son,
and give Him the glory, great things He hath done.

2. O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
to ev'ry believer the promise of God;
the vilest offender who truly believes,
that moment from Jesus a pardon receives.

3. Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done,
and great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
but purer, and higher, and greater will be
our wonder, our transport, when Jesus we see.

TODAY’S CHALLENGE

Share the testimony of Jesus with one person today. Tell them:

The Father sent His Son to be the Savior of the world.”

DEEP REFLECTION

If the apostles saw and testified, what am I doing with the truth I have heard?
Is my life a living testimony that Jesus is indeed the Savior?

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT

You are not alone. The Savior who came to redeem you also lives to strengthen you. His grace is sufficient, His love unfailing, His power limitless.

ETERNITY IN VIEW

Accept Him today. Live for Him daily.
Your eternity depends on it.

You shall rise as a witness of Christ. Your voice will carry the power of salvation. Signs and wonders will follow your testimony. The grace of God will distinguish you, and your life will glorify Jesus Christ!

WORDS OF TRUTH

HE HAS GIVEN US OF HIS SPIRIT!

THE WORDS OF TRUTH DAILY DEVOTIONAL
Mar 2nd, 2026

𝕋𝕀𝕋𝕃𝔼:
HE HAS GIVEN US OF HIS SPIRIT!

KEY VERSE

By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.” — 1 John 4:13

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

The greatest evidence of God’s presence in the believer is not outward achievements, spiritual gifts, or church activities, but the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. God did not leave us to figure out life alone. He knew we were incapable of living victoriously by human strength, so He gave us His Spirit; His very life, wisdom, power, and nature.

The Holy Spirit is the divine seal that confirms we belong to God. He is our Teacher, Comforter, Advocate, Guide, Strengthener, and Helper. Without Him, Christianity becomes a struggle. With Him, ordinary people do extraordinary things. The Spirit of God empowers the believer to love, forgive, resist sin, walk in truth, discern deception, and fulfill divine purpose.

When Scripture says, He has given us of His Spirit,” it means God has shared His divine essence with us. The Spirit brings transformation from within, producing the fruit of righteousness, inspiring holiness, and empowering victorious living. Every believer carries a divine treasure; the supernatural presence of God Himself.

Therefore, you are not helpless. You are not powerless. You are not alone. The Spirit of God in you is God’s guarantee that your life will rise, prosper, and shine. You carry God inside!

BIBLICAL OBJECTIVES OF THIS DEVOTIONAL

  1. To understand the purpose of the Holy Spirit in the believer’s life.

  2. To show the assurance of salvation through the indwelling Spirit.

  3. To inspire deeper fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

  4. To strengthen the believer’s identity in Christ.

  5. To reveal the power of the Spirit for daily victory.

  6. To stir hunger for spiritual growth and holiness.

  7. To teach dependence on the Spirit rather than human strength.

  8. To expose the dangers of living without the Spirit’s guidance.

  9. To build confidence in God’s abiding presence.

  10. To encourage believers to manifest the fruit and gifts of the Spirit.

ILLUSTRATIONS

1. THE LAMP AND THE OIL

A man bought a beautiful lamp but never filled it with oil. Every night he complained about darkness despite having the lamp. The lamp looked good, but without oil, it could not function.

Lesson:

The believer without the active help of the Holy Spirit is like a lamp without oil; attractive but ineffective. The Spirit is the fuel that keeps your spiritual life burning.

2. THE EAGLE THAT WOULD NOT FLY

An eagle raised among chickens behaved like a chicken until it was lifted high toward the sky. When it felt the wind beneath its wings, its true nature awakened, and it soared.

Lesson:

Many Christians live below their spiritual capacity because they have not yielded to the Holy Spirit. The Spirit reveals your true identity and enables you to soar above limitations.

CALL TO REPENTANCE

If you have been ignoring the voice of the Holy Spirit, living in disobedience, or depending on your strength, God is calling you back to Him. Repent and submit to His Spirit again.

DEEP REPENTANCE

“Father, I surrender my will, thoughts, desires, and weaknesses. Forgive me where I have resisted Your Spirit. Restore my fellowship with You. Purify my heart and renew Your presence in me.”

By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.” — 1 John 4:13

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

The greatest mystery of the Christian life is not what God does around us, but what He does within us. The moment we receive Christ, He does not merely improve our lives; He indwells us. The Almighty chooses our hearts as His temple. This truth changes everything.

God is not far from the believer. He is not watching from a distance nor speaking from afar. He is present, near, active, and alive within you. His Spirit strengthens your weakness, guides your paths, corrects your errors, comforts your pains, and empowers your destiny.

To say He in us means:

  • You are never alone.
  • You are never helpless.
  • You are never without direction.
  • You are never without hope.

His presence inside you is what transforms ordinary people into extraordinary vessels. It is His life in you that makes holiness possible, prayer powerful, vision clear, and destiny unstoppable.
